Girls' Day Out at Universal Studios

My sister, Julie, is on her biannual visit from the US and we've been exploring the latest sights around Singapore. Yesterday, we headed out to Universal Studios at Resorts World Sentosa on a hot, humid day and had a thoroughly enjoyable girls day out. Thanks Amanda for arranging the discounted tickets!

We stopped at Mel's Diner for a cheeseburger lunch before moving on to the following sights:-

• Steven Spielberg's soundstage - Lights! Camera! Action - which simulated a Category 5 storm (very cool effects!)
• Spinning teacups
• The Mummy roller coaster ride (Never again!)
• Donkey Night Club Show
• 4-D Shrek Show

Just outside Jurassic Park

Some friendly advice for all those heading for this theme park...

• Pack a hat, lots of sunblock lotion, gallons of drinking water
• Stay in the shade as much as you can
• Don't go on the Mummy roller coaster ride after having cheeseburger and fries for lunch. It's not a pretty sight :-)
